Simple mistake causes horrific outcome. It was a cold and snowy night and the roads were in terrible condition. A crane truck driver was in too big of a hurry to get to his shop. His windshield washer fluid ran out and his windshield got so dirty that he could not see out of the front windshield. Instead of pulling over and buying windshield washer fluid at the 2 dozen places that he passed, he kept driving. When he finally stopped at a truck stop about a mile from his shop to refuel he did not see a pedestrian in the parking lot and he ran this poor gentleman over – killing him.
